Raise $10k in 2026 for Global Missionaries

An Easy Path to Victory

It’s really easy to raise $10,000 to support a global missionary you trust and feel called to advocate for them, if you follow our fundraiser roadmap. All you need is faith and one hour/week.

“You are not fundraising, you are advocating for a missionary you love.”

Four Stages of Fundraising

Phase One > Light Your Flame

Phase Two > Gather A Circle

Phase Three > Meet In Person

Phase Four > Throw A Party

Phase One > Light Your Flame

  1. Pick A Missionary

  2. Name Your Campaign, Get A Logo

  3. Collect Prayer Needs & Stories

  4. Collect Media: Videos, Website, Social Media

  5. Create A Presentation

In Phase One, I have to figure out who I’m advocating for.

Don’t advocate for organizations. They aren’t human. They don’t have souls.

Advocate for people.  Find someone you believe in, and you can see that they need some help.

You already know why you’re advocating. Advocacy is deeply held in our Father’s heart. Jesus is our Advocate to the Father. The Holy Spirit is our Advocate to Jesus and the Father. Everyone in need needs advocates. We aren’t designed to live and flourish alone; our Father designed us for family, for community. None of us has every spiritual gift. And support-raising missionaries around the world need people “back home” advocating for them.

So, pray about it. Father, who do you want me to advocate for? Do I already know someone who needs my help? If not, who do I know that cares about the Great Commission and has missionary contacts? Please grant me favor with them so they can connect me with a missionary that I can adopt, begin following their missionary journey, figure out their financial needs, and pull together a giving circle to meet that financial need with joy, abundance, and consistency.

It all starts with lighting a flame. We are naturally designed by God to be torch bearers, ambassadors, champions, door openers. Whether we operate that way now or not, anyone can snag a match and spark a flame.

The flame is both the commitment to advocate, and the missionary who is that light on a hill, drawing the nations to Jesus Christ in whatever harvest field they’re planted and working.

So, light your flame. Find your missionary. Adopt them and sign up for their newsletters, or start meeting with them once a season. Get to know them. Find out what they’re doing. Care about what they care about. The better you understand them, the more personal & powerful your advocacy ministry will become.

Do you agree that this dark, chaotic, crazy world could use more calm, warm, hopeful flames?

______________

“Light the Flame”

It doesn’t start with money.

It starts with a name.

A face.

A story.

A quiet yes that catches flame.

You are not fundraising.

You are advocating —>

for a missionary you love,

for a life you believe in,

for light already burning

on a distant hill.

All it takes is faith

and one small hour a week.

A match struck in the dark.

A willingness to care.

Don’t advocate for systems.

They don’t breathe.

They don’t ache.

They don’t wake up at night

praying for strength.

Advocate for people.

For sons and daughters sent out.

For hands already calloused by harvest.

For voices already saying yes

where others stayed silent.

Ask our Father —>

Who do You want me to stand with?

Who needs an advocate back home?

Who needs a circle,

a covering,

a flame that won’t go out?

Jesus stands as our Advocate.

The Spirit intercedes with groans too deep for words.

Heaven itself advocates —>

no one flourishing alone,

room for all in Yahweh’s family tree.

So light your flame.

Adopt a missionary.

Learn their story.

Carry their prayer requests like embers in your pocket.

Meet with them.

Follow their journey.

Care about what they care about.

Because the flame is both the promise

and the person.

The commitment

and the calling.

And this world

this dark, chaotic, weary world

could use more calm flames,

more warm light,

more hopeful fires

burning steady against the cold night.

So here’s the shot over the bow.

The starting gun.

The invitation.

Light the flame.

Gather the circle.

Show up in love.

And watch what God does

when ordinary people

carry extraordinary fire.
