Raise $10k in 2026 for Global Missionaries
An Easy Path to Victory
Welcome to Step Two in our 2026 fundraiser training series on how to raise $10,000 for global missionaries.
It’s really easy to raise $10,000 to support a global missionary you trust and feel called to advocate for them, if you follow our fundraiser roadmap. All you need is faith and one hour/week.
“You are not fundraising, you are advocating for a missionary you love.”

In Phase One, I need to create my own banner, a flag I can wave wildly and rally my friends around something wonderful, and that’s personal to me.
As we light the flame of advocacy, you must understand that God wants to primarily rally his people around you, not some organization or cause.
Our Father is in the business of souls. He made humans, and our bodies are just temporary holding cells for our eternal souls. We can’t enter into covenants or partnerships with organizations or causes, only other people.
This is absolutely key to advocacy: God isn’t interested in how much money you can raise, he’s interested in how many people you can inspire through your faith and dedication.
The practical way to do this in fundraising is to create your own fundraising banner. You’ve got a missionary or a team that you want to raise funds for; now, it’s time to….
Name Your Campaign
Design Your Banner
Take a selah moment and pray. Wait on the Lord; don’t rush. Father, what special name do you want to give to my new fundraiser campaign? Something special and personal. Something that fits me, a name that’s natural to who I am, and what I care about. A name that sounds like me.
Wait on the Lord. He will give you a name. You’ll see it somewhere while you’re walking, driving, or scrolling. Or you’ll hear the name in your mind, the Holy Spirit will speak it to you. Or, you’ll hear a name multiple times that you don’t normally hear in conversations or the news or entertainment, and you’ll realize that’s the name for your campaign.
Once you’ve got it, bless it! Thank the Lord for revealing the name. Receive this name with joy, take ownership of it. The name is a gift, a blessing, a sign for others to get excited and get active in the Great Commission.
Now, design your banner. Every fundraiser needs a fun, creative, inspiring logo.
Maybe you’re an artist and you’ll design it yourself. Maybe you’ll hire someone you know or have heard of to design it for you. Maybe you’ll use an artists-for-hire app like Fiverr to design it, or maybe you’ll use an AI assistant app to design it.
Design something that feels right, that feels like you. Design/art that reflects what the Holy Spirit is showing you in your mind and heart.
Be free, have fun, enjoy creating, and don’t decide on the final logo until it’s exactly what you want and feels right. Don’t be afraid of multiple drafts. Don’t be afraid to scrap the original design concept for a better one later. Don’t be surprised if the process of designing the logo leads to changing the campaign name.
Heavenly Father, thank you for how powerful and incredible and personal names are. Names are precious: they carry deep, eternal meaning. I pray for my friends who are launching their own fundraisers today. Please bless and protect them. As they pray for a name, as they seek dreams and visions of the perfect design for their fundraiser, I trust you to help them. I know you will give them the right names, and paint the right designs into their lives. Names that will speak to the heart; designs that will inspire and draw new partners to us. We look forward with great anticipation to what you will do, and we thank you for helping us as we seek to advocate together with your Holy Spirit. We pray, trust, and believe in Jesus’ name, Amen.
_____
The Name He Gives
Before the banner is raised,
before the circle is formed,
before a single door opens
He calls you by name.
Not the name that isn’t really you,
not the label you learned to answer to,
but the quiet word He stored
in His heart
before you ever asked.
There is a name
waiting in the stillness.
A sound shaped like your passions.
A word that fits your yes.
You will not force it.
You cannot manufacture it.
It arrives the way manna appears
unexpected, sufficient, mysterious
personal.
You’ll hear it while walking,
or see it written where it doesn’t make sense.
It will echo twice… then three times…
until your spirit recognizes
what your mind can’t yet explain.
And when it lands,
it will feel like home.
⸻
Chorus
This is the name You gave me, Lord
Not for my glory, but for Yours
A banner born of love and trust
A holy spark, a sacred cause
I lift it high, I carry it slow
I’ll steward what You chose to sow
This is the name You gave me, Lord
I’ll speak it out, and watch You move
⸻
This name is not branding.
It is calling crystallized.
A key that fits your hands
because God shaped the lock
with you in mind.
It does not point to an organization.
It points to a person.
To faces.
To souls.
To fields already ripe
with harvest.
The name will gather people
not because it is clever,
but because it is true.
Truth has gravity.
Truth creates family.
And as you wave this banner,
you begin alone
with quiet boldness
faith shining on a hill
and heaven recognizes your faith.
Angels lean in.
Doors unlock and creak open.
Provision discovers what you need.
Because when God gives a name,
He commits Himself to them.
⸻
Bridge
I didn’t choose this fire
It chose me first
A worthy weight, a newfound thirst
If You named it, You’ll sustain it
If You spoke it, You’ll complete it
⸻
So receive the name.
Bless it.
Speak it aloud.
It will cost you comfort
but give you joy.
This is how advocacy begins:
not with money,
but with devotion wearing a name.
And the harvest will know
who sent you.
